Deluxe, historically accurate Roman Set contains five 40 ml. tubes. Set colors include: Lime White, Carbon Black, Red Earth, Yellow Ochre, and Egyptian Blue Hue.
These stunning colors offer the unique sheen and translucency of wax but require little-to-no heat, with solvent-free, soap and water clean-up.
Once they are cured, they can be used either under or over hot encaustic surfaces for extra versatility in your painting practice.
To experiment with a full range of painterly techniques and paint workability-including washes, glazes, and impastos- we strongly suggest adding Cuni Water-Soluble Encaustic Medium and Cuni Water-Soluble Encaustic Retarder to your order
